Tibet Trekking

A visit to Tibet is a visit to another world, and one that is never forgotten. High on the stunning Tibetan plateau, the civilization of Lhasa and its sister cities of Gyantse and Shigatse preserves one of the richest culture on the planet. Tibet is a land of religion, and our guests experience its flavor from the moment of their arrival at the airport. On their visit to Tibet, they will be awed by the power of the immense ruined monasteries and the majesty of the grand Potala Palace.

In the capital city of Lhasa, which is reached by regular flights or motor transport from Kathmandu, they can shop for curios among the friendly Tibetans at the delightful Bharkor market, and will delight in such relice as the Jeweled Garden of Norbulinka and the sacred Jokhang Temple, the country's most important shrine. For those with a taste for adventure, our guests are offered treks in Tibetan mountains and valleys, and trips to sacred Mt. Kailash and its companion holy Lake Manasarovar.
