We pass through the Sherpa traditional and adventure villages- Namche Bazaar and Khumjung to the Gokyo Valley and the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest in Nepal Himalaya. A scramble ascent nearby Gokyo Ri (5483m.) gives closer view of the world’s 6th highest peak, Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m.). A high altitude trekking option is available here, crossing Chola (Chhugyuma) at 5420m, a high pass into Khumbu region. Descending to Phortse, make a high traverse to the village of Pangboche and climb on towards Everest Base Camp. The return route leads through Dingboche and Tengpoche before descending the Khumbu Valley to Lukla.

01
Day 01: Kathmandu- 1340M (Arrival day and Transfer to hotel) - Hotel

Onto your arrival our company representatives will greet you at the Tribhuwan International Airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in and stay overnight. You will have a rest at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2840M) & Trek to Phakding (2800M) - Approx.4 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)

After early morning breakfast we do a small scenic flight of 40 minutes to Lukla.If you are lucky then you get to see the spectacular views of mountains and the deep gorges. We begin our trek from Lukla alongside Dudh Koshi river. During the trek you will get the chance to visualize the crystal clear mountains like Mt. Nupla(5885m) , Kusum Kangaru(6367m), and mount Kwongde range. After that the easy walk for two hours will take you to the Phakding village. Overnight at guest house.

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazzar (3440M) - Approx- 6 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)

The trek starts from Phakding making the dudhkoshi river north on the way. We will cross the small suspension bridge twice before reaching the village Monjo the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. After that we ascend towards Jhorsallle. This trail passes waterfalls and different richy scenic beauty places. The village is rich in magnificent forest of Rhododendron, Magnolia and Fir. Then we ascend towards beautiful village Namche Bazzar(3440m). This destination is very rich in spectacular views and is very comfortable place to spend second night of the trek.

Day 04: Trek to Syangboche, Rest/Acclimatization and Back to Namche Bazzar- approx 3 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)

We will go for a short trek to Syangboche from Namche and return back to Namche.You will have enough time to visit the National Park Head office, Museum, and other monasteries. You can also have your own quality time at cafes, shops, bakeries or restaurants. The place also features other essential services like post office, hospital, government health post, 24 hour electricity and water supply and high speed internet access. You can also contact your family before heading towards the base of Everest Base Camp. This is night is also spent in a lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Trek to Dole (4200M) - Approx 4/5 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)

Today we will be trekking to Dole by following the same route to Base camp until Sanasa then trail ascends up to Mongla (4000m). From here, you will see panoramic views of various mountains. You trek steeply descend passing through Phortse Tenga and from there, the trail climbs steeply to Dole, through rhododendron and birch forest festooned with hanging mosses and lichens. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 06: Trek to MachherMo (4470M) - Approx 4 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)

From Dole we will climb steadily along the side of the valley, where the small and thorny bushes give way to scrub juniper as the altitude increases. The trail passes many summer settlements, which are used when yaks are taken to these pastures to graze in the summer months. Ahead you will have mesmerizing views of Cho Oyu, while back down the valley are the peaks of Kantega and Thamserku. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 07: Trek to Gokyo- Lodge (B/L/D)

Today, we head for the lakes at Gokyo. We follow a very scenic path to Pangka and then descend slightly, following one of the melt-water rivers which flow down the west side of the Ngozumpa Glacier.we climb a steep rocky inclined into the valley by the side of the glacier, passing the first of the holy lakes. We will soon arrive at the second lake, crossing the path which heads across the glacier to Cho La (5420m.). We’ll see the third lake is known as Dudh Pokhari. Walking by the side of the lake, we will arrive at Gokyo. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 08: Trek to Gokyo Ri and Back to Gokyo - Lodge (B/L/D)

Gokyo Ri looms above the village on the northern edge of the lake. After having breakfast we will leave camp, following a steep path up the hillside. As we ascend, the summits of Everest, Lhotse and Makalu slowly come into sight and the view from the summit of Gokyo Ri itself, is one of the finest to be had in the Everest region. After lunch we will trek back to Gokyo. Overnight at guest house.

Day 09: Trek to Dragnak- Approx 3 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)

From Gokyo we will continue our trek to Dragnak. Overnight stay at guest house

Day 10: Trek to Cho-la Pass (5368M) & Trek to Dzongla (4860M) - approx 7/8 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)

Today we will be trekking towards Cho-la pass from Dragnak and trek to Dzongla from Cho-la pass. Overnight stay at guest house

Day 11: Trek to Gorakshep (5170M)

Gorakshep is the location of the original Everest Base Camp with the new camp being further up the valley.After lunch our adventure continues towards Everest Base Camp. The trial is like rocky dunes and moraine and streams. The Base Camp area provides an opportunity to experience the freezing and harsh conditions that mountaineers brave to summit this famous mountain. We explore base camp and its surroundings glacier and return back to Gorakshep.

Day 12: Trek to Kalapathar (5545M) & Trek back down to Pheriche (4280M) - approx 6/7 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)

It is around 7-8 hrs trail today. Mornings are usually sparkling and clear and this is the best time to climb the Kalapathar for one of the world’s definitive mountain views. We will experience 360 degree panoramic views of Mt Everest and surroundings mountains like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku along with many other peaks for Kalapathar. Then you will have an easy walk for about 2hrs to reach Pheriche.

Day 13: Trek to Tengboche (3860M) - Approx.4/5 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)

We go downwards the valley of the Imja Khola, and trek through the village of Dingboche with its stone walled potato fields, down alpine pastures through the Kharkas of Tsura, Orsho and Shomare to the village of Pangboche, the highest year round settlement in the valley. From the view point we will get experience to see distinctive peaks like Amadablam (6856m), standing proud of the massif containing Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7861m), Lhotse (8501m) and inspiring views of Himalayas. We will visit the Buddhist Monastery at Tengboche, the largest in Khumbu region.

Day 14: Trek to Manju (2800M) - Approx 6 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)

We will trek down to Manju. Overnight stay at guest house

Day 15: Trek to Lukla- 5 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)

We descend from Manju to Lukla. Although the path is all downhill the downward slope places massive impact on the knees. Once you cross the high suspension bridge, the path runs mostly level. We will enjoy the lush green forests around and passing through the incredible mountain scenery and local Sherpa village before arrival in Lukla. Overnight stay at Lukla

Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu & Transfer to hotel, relax day after Long Trip- Hotel (B/B)

Today we will fly back to Kathmandu that takes time upto 40 minutes. (It also can be a spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla which makes the Lukla flight delayed and cancel. At the evening we will have the farewell dinner and discuss for your next destination for your arrival once again.

Day 17: Final departure

Nearly 2 hours before your scheduled flight, our company representative will take you to the airport. We are sure; you will back to your home taking amazing experience of Nepal. We hope you enjoyed trekking and want to be somewhere in the Himalayas again.
