The Rhododendrons View Trail – 10 Days Overview

This is an exceptional trip that takes you across carpets of lovely Rhododendrons – Nepal’s one and only national flower which the country is very proud of and is known in Nepal as the ‘Laligurans’. Many hotels, restaurants, trek and tour companies proudly go by the name of this exquisite flower. It is on the basis of this beautiful flower that we have specially designed a unique trek that traces the trails from where these flowers are seen in blanket formation for miles on the mountains of the vast Annapurna range and the sublime Langtang region. These unique flowers are found in abundance in these regions of Nepal particularly. The Rhododendrons View Trail gives you views of stunning mountainous landscapes of famous peaks and as we begin our hike from the mid-hills, we see the pretty flowers blooming in a spectacular red colour during spring and it’s truly wonderful to behold. But as we go to higher altitudes, we notice the colour of these Rhododendrons tend to change to a pinkish shade of wonderful beauty that would have even made King Solomon of the bible feel jealous with all his riches and the beauty he was surrounded with. In some areas these rhododendrons are also found to be snow white with soft petals. This trek takes us through this vast range of rhododendrons with famous peaks in the backgrounds and while hiking the paths, we sweep through friendly villages with welcoming people where the culture tells us of the way of life in these hindu villages who spend most of their lives on the Himalayas. This trip is a wonderful experience of how nature teaches us to appreciate the elements as much as we come to see the naturalness of the wilderness at its true best.
