Trip Overview
Popular climbing north valley of Manang in Annapurna region is Chulu west peak climbing. Throng la pass very famous trial of Annapurna region is also included in this trial. There are two peaks in Damodar Himal range of Annapurna region i.e. Chulu east and Chulu west. It was first scaled as Chulu west in 1952 by Japanese expedition team. North West ridge is the main route climbing this peak. In this route we can see many beautifu animals and birds playing on the forest. Chulu west peak is regarded as challenging peak climbing but also the climb to Chulu west peak will be unforgettable peak climbing in your life time.
Kathmandu is the starting point and ends at pokhara. Our trial goes through the trekking trial of Annapurna circuit. We can explore the cultural and natural beauty while in this climb. We will be surrounded by eye catching mountain like Dhaulagiri, Chulu east, Nilgiri, Manaslu, Tukuche peak and Annapurna on our way. Autumn and spring season is the most suitable season to climb this peak because Natural beauty and stunting view of diamond shining Mountain can be observed with favorable weather.
Our physical structure should be very good. Since Chulu west peak climbing is considered as difficult peak climbing. So we need have experience of peak climbing or the training should be taken to use ice axe crampons and rope along with proper permit of each climbers. Itinerary of Chulu West Peak Climbing
Day 1: Arrival to Kathmandu.
After landing flight at TIA, representative of Family Adventure trek will warmly receive you. We will move towards the hotel. We will enjoy delicious dinner at night. After dinner we will give brief description of the peak climbing program to Chulu west Peak.

Day 2: Kathmandu exploration and preparation for trek.
Today, we spend our day by sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley with guide. We will visit Pashupatinath, which is regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva, Bouddhanath known as Little Tibet and to Swayambhunath known as Monkey Temple. From Swayambhunath, we drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur Durbar Square). Finally, we return hotel and prepare our trek for tomorrow.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Jagat
Early morning we will have breakfast and take a drive to jagat for about 7 to 8 hours. The panoramic view of the roadside houses and forest will be very enjoyable. In Jagat spectacular places around the valley will be very interesting. The night will be at one of the best hotel at Jagat.

Day 4: Jagat to Dharapani
Today, we will walk to beautiful region of Dharapani. We will walk down to the river and cross the suspension bridge. We will reach to the beautiful village of Tal. From Tal, we will continue our journey crossing the river through the suspension bridge in our way. The nigh will be beautiful at Dharapani at 1960m.

Day 5: Dharapani to Chame
Early morning we will move to Dudh Khola by following the trial of Marshyangdi River. In our way best view of Annapurna Himal, Lamjung Himal, and other beautiful ranges of mountain will be so impressive. The beautiful, traditional and cultural Bhote village of the trail will be equally interesting to trek. We will stay the night at Chame at altitude of 1960m.

Day 6: Chame to Pisang
From Chame, we will continue by viewing glorious mountains sparkling in the rising sun. Our trail goes to Bharthang by viewing the extremely beautiful and glorious view of mountains all around us. Slowly by walking we will reach at Pisang. We can have the most panoramic view of Pisang peak to the north east. The night will be amazing at Pisang at the height of 3100m.

Day 7: Pisang to Manang
After having breakfast, we will climb towards the beautiful village of Manang. The panoramic view of Tilicho Lake along with Annapurna region from different view point can be seen during the trek. We will pass through beautiful village covered with many chortens and Mani walls. We will spend our night at Manang.

Day 8: Manang to Leder
Our trial goes through alpine forest which goes through the Yak Kharka. The region is used by the local people as the pasture land of the surrounding. In our way we can see many beautiful things around us. It will take about 4 to 5 hours to reach Leder. The night will be at tented camp of Leder at the altitude of 4200m.

Day 9: Leder to Chulu west base camp
Today is our main destination of our trekking. We will climb to the main trial of Chulu west base camp. We need to trek through the steep trail which is about 4 to 5 hours long. Chulu west can be seen in front of us is very beautiful. The night will be at the camp in a tent of Chulu west base camp 4900m.

Day 10: Chulu west base camp to camp I
After spending a cool night at the tented camp of Chulu west base camp, camp I is our next destination. Every step of us will lead us much closer to the summits of beautiful Chulu west. We will have some patience and strength. To reach camp I we need to walk about 4 to 5 hours in snowy trial. Our night will be at the tented camp of the Camp I at the altitude of 5100m.

Day 11: Camp I to Camp II
From camp I, we will hike towards the camp II. Our trial goes through the snowy path to the Camp II. The camp is at the height of 5530m. If you are professional trekkers then you can make the attempt to the summit directly from the camp I but we will set up camp at camp II and stay night.

Day 12: Camp II to Summit and back to Camp I
We will start our journey a bit earlier because we need to walk for about 8 to 9 hours to reach our destination. We will continue our journey until we reach at the top of Chulu west to view the panoramic view around the region. We will return back down way to rest. We will have night relaxing at the land of Himalayas.

Day 13: Camp I to Leder
From the camp I, we will trek further down to Leder. While returning the trail, we will get the glorious view of the eye catching Annapurna mountain ranges. The return journey will be to the Leder. It will take us about 5 to 6 hours to reach at Leder where we will spend our tired night.

Day 14: Leder to Thorung Phedi
Today we will trek towards the Thorung Phedi. The trail is mostly is easy going to Thorung Phedi. It will take us about 4 to 5 hours to reach Thorung Phedi. The night will be at Thorung Phedi at the altitude of 4450m.

Day 15: Thorung Phedi to Thorung la passes to Muktinath to Jomsom
We will cross Thorung la passes. We can view the most beautiful view of surrounding from the pass. We will walk through the beautiful trail to reach at Muktinath 3800m and we will further catch the bus to Jomsom. The whole trek goes for about 7 to 8 hours and a 2 hours drive. Then only we will reach to Jomsom.

Day 16: Jomsom to Pokhara
From Jomsom, we will catch the early morning flight over to Pokhara. The magnificent view of mountain ranges with snow cap from the plane will be so much memorable. After reaching Pokhara we will view and visit the local market at lake side beautiful place of Pokhara and stay night in Pokhara.

Day 17: Pokhara to Kathmandu
We will wake up early in the morning and see the dazzling view of sun rising through the summit piercing the white snows. We will have a short visit over to the market in Pokhara and return back to Kathmandu. We will return by driving back to Kathmandu. It will takes about 7 to 8 hours. The night will be relaxing at hotel of Kathmandu valley.

Day 18: Farewell
After having a night rest at Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to march ourselves towards the international airport of Nepal. We have to reach at airport 3 hours before the flight. We will attend a small farewell program organized by Family Adventure trek. After then we will catch the flight to return back to the home country. We hope, while returning back to home country you will think for a re visit to Nepal. We hope for your better journey.
