We walked for days to reach an altitude of over 4,000 meters, and it was truly moving to see the majestic mountains surrounding us at base camp. The hardest part was the steep slope of Chomrong, which was tough both on the way there and back. Our guide, Nir, and porter, Syam, walked slowly with us and gave us strength. The hot springs at Jinudanda are great, but they are far from the hotel, so I recommend bringing warm clothes to keep you warm. Arjun from Family Adventure Treks, who arranged the tour, was flexible with the schedule. Since our flight out was at night, he booked a room so we could get plenty of rest, and changed the flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu as we wanted. Thanks to him, it was a trekking trip that will stay in our memory forever.Verified ABC Short Trek- April 2024 We completed the short Annapurna Base Camp trek in early April 2024 with a total of 3 in the group, along with porters and guide Deepu. The trek was coordinated by Family Adventure and Treks, Arjun Simkhada, who ensured all in our group knew what they needed to have. Our guide, Deepu, along with his trusted porters ensured we were looked after during the journey. This was a special celebration trek for my wife who wanted a birthday party at ABC, one that Deepu managed to pull off by getting cake and candles helicoptered in on the day from Pokhara. It was an awesome adventure for the 2 ladies in our group.Verified ABC Short Trek- April 2024 We recently completed a 6 night, 7 day trek to ABC base camp co-ordinated by Arjun and his company. This was a special trip to celebrate my wife's birthday at the base camp. Our trek was completed safely and we achieved our goal for a birthday party at ABC. Our guide for this was Deepu who along with his 2 trusted porters, made our journey lightweight and easy as well as arranged all the required logistics on this walk. Deepu arranged a special cake along with candle etc to be flown in from Pokhara for this.
