Gokyo Lake Trek Overview

The trek starts in Lukla, a small mountain town in the Everest region of Nepal, and takes you through several remote Sherpa villages, high mountain passes, and glacial lakes. Along the way, you will be treated to stunning views of some of the world's highest peaks, including Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Makalu.The trek starts from Lukla and takes about 14-16 days to complete, depending on the itinerary you choose. The trek passes through several remote Sherpa villages, including Namche Bazaar, Dole, Machhermo, and Gokyo. You will have the opportunity to experience the local Culture and lifestyle of the Sherpa people and witness their traditional practices and customs.
Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu and drive to hotel over night Hotel.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla at 250mt. and trek to Phakding at 2610m (3/4 hours walk over night 2560mt)
Day 03: Trek to Namche bazar (5/6 hour walk and over night 3434 mt )
Day 04: Rest at Namche for acclimatization. Early morning visit Everest view point for splendid
views of Himalayas with Sun rise.
Day 05: Trek to Dole – 4200m. (5/6 hours walk over night 4200mt)
Day 06: Trek to Machhermo ( 3 hours walk 4400 mt)
Day 07: Trek to Gokyo (4/ 5 hours walk 4700mt)
